The story behind the stoolDuring our trip through China, we found ourselves in a building with all the manufactured products from the region, mostly made of bamboo. In a large showroom we found trays, boxes, lots of boxes, cutlery.... You name it. Hundreds if not more than a thousand different products, all made from bamboo.
While touring the building we ran into a trade delegation being shown around and addressed by the director there; After his speach he saw us standing and offered us something to drink in a kitchen, also made of bamboo. We sat down on the stools that were at the countertop. We just sat down and looked at each other.... this is special! what a
wow feeling this gave us.
Later back in Belgium we still talked about it sometimes, but did nothing with it. Now, however, we were like “we have to do something with this”. It was not available on the market here and the search online was not successful.
This made us decide to tackle this and market the stool here. We don't want to do this through yet another dropship thing, but to order so that we can offer a
better price and let as many people as possible enjoy this.
